Image Drag-and-drop now featuring on Google Docs

Google’s Web-based document, spread sheet, drawing and presentation platform now has image drag-and-drop from desktop functionality.

The feature reportedly works with the latest versions of Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari, while Google says it plans to also support other browsers soon.

Image drag-and-drop works exactly as you would expect, users click and drag a file stored on their computer to an open document in Google Docs, the file is uploaded and added to the document in real-time for other users to see.
